YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY I'M DONE WITH CLASSES AND AM OUT FOR WINTER BREAK! :dance:

*sigh of relief here* I am so glad I'm done with the semester, it was just..bleh /X I'm really looking forward to the nice long break I have to do fun stuff such as:

-work on my CBF costume 8D as well as revamping my basic Renji
-catch up on some J-dramas -finally get around to playing KHII
-go see the King Tut exhibit at the museum in SF
-go see the new CA Academy of Sciences
-sleep in <3
-finally putting up some drawings jere since I have access to a shiny new scanner!

anyways, two weeks ago was the NorCal Christmas In The Park event! Lots of fun running around in winter versions looking at all the decorated christmas trees and the dioramas. The idea came up that we decorate a tree for next year XD Probably my favorite part of the evening was going on rides with :iconanti-ai-chan: and :iconbekalou: - OMG THE TEACUPS WERE INTENSE and the sketchy mini-coaster was hilarious XD heres the link to my pictures: [link] Tomorrow should be fun - going to a Christmas party later in the evening =), and I gotta do some more christmas shopping this weekend (and I hope the hobbit door I got for my mom for her garden gets here in time DX) too.

I love this time of year X3

lol yeah i meant to message you, sorry about that XD
sword came about a week and a half ago - when i got it, it looked like customs had opened up the box (the tape they had used to close it back up said so) and when i was examining the sword the tip of the blade had been damaged slightly and there was a nick in the hilt /= I'm sure it didn't look like that when you packed it so I'm assuming it was done by customs >< other than that its a beautiful sword, the wrapping on the hilt is amazing (and i can't believe how light it is!)

why those bloody customs, I clearly marked the parcel as a "Wooden Toy Sword" sheesh, I also wrapped that parcel like a frigin cast for broken bones O.O, they must really not know how to handle a wooden sword, because yes, I can assure you the sword was in good clean condition when I wrapped it lol

ah yes it is pretty light isnt it? while also being sturdy from being made of wood 8D you dont think I could get a photo with you posing with the sword so that I might have it for reference of buyers please?

well if you really wanted to repair it, sounds like simple con damage, then you will have to sand down the surrounding area, then add wood filler and sand that until it is even, then use primer spray paint to cover the surface, and then your paint, but then also a gloss

but doing all that in a small area is difficult

why thank you! I browsed through your gallery, I've seen you around cosplay.com too :)

and thanks for the compliment on my Black Star cosplay ^^ he's a lot different from the characters I normally do (personality wise), so he was a ton of fun to run around as :D

And np! Black Star is one of my all time favorite cosplays alongside Naruto, Sora, and others. Then again I always love to cosplay loud, hyper, and obnixious characters more than anything xDD

lol I just do my favorites, which the majority have been either serious-business face types (or slightly on the creep side, which is moreover my Noitora costume than others lol), so it was really refreshing to do someone who is a lot more outgoing than I normally do.
That and was just too much fun parading around being all "I'm awesomer than you" XD
