Time for con report! 8D
This year was a lot of fun - not as super awesome as last year, but still a lot of fun. Will probably make a return next year, but Fanime still holds the number one rank as best con to go to, at least for me (and its local! <3).
So heres a quick highlight/recap of each day:

Day Zero:.
-drove down with in the Kenpachi-mobile, checked into the Holiday Inn. Room was super spacious (which is good because our room was filled with 4 cosplayers who are a bunch of prop whores XD:

our dresser was covered in wig heads too XD
- and came later and we all got settled in, and then we headed over to the LACC to pick up our badges.
-rest of the night was spent touching up on cosplay stuffs.

Thursday:
-today was Arrancar!Filler/Spoiler group, with myself as Arrancar!Renji, Kitty as Arrancar!Rangiku, and Ty as Arrancar!Kenpachi.We got a really positive response from other attendees. We got stopped a lot for photos. I can only imagine what it will be like when we get our Arrancar!Hitsugaya and Arrancar!Yachiru in our group for next year XD
-missed the Yun Kouga panel T_T but I was able to get her to sign my Gundam00 Design Works artbook on the last day so it was ok (bummed I couldn't get a quick sketch of Lockon though >< ).
-pretty much a chill day overall. Got to see 's AWESOME Gangsta!Gurren Lagann group though XD FIGHT DA POWAH, YO

Friday:
-Spend the night before hand sewing bias tape to the other side of the top for Findor (not to mention the bangs of the wig were trimmed the morning of ><
-Bleachers Breakfast at Denny's was fun - I was the only Arrancar there though DX and people kept passing lemons and butter to me >< You'll all rue the day you made crab jokes at me! DX lol
-gathering itself was fun - though one of the organizers started it early and I did get unhappy feedback about that (I'm really sorry you guys T_T).
-Pokemon gathering was also today, went as Gijinka!Umbreon - OMG MOST FUN I'VE EVER HAD AT A GATHERING XD definitely going to do more gijinka cosplay in the future (Yanmega, Kabutops, Zubat, Arcanine, Lugia, Flygon, Lairon, and Lucario being a few XD).
-Singing the original theme song in its entirety was epic
-after the gathering I went and changed back into Findor for a photoshoot with Oscar (can't wait to see how the photos came out)
-changed back into Umbreon because I wanted something comfy and the heels for Findor were killing my feet >< hung around the con more, and then later watched the AMV contest (Code:RickRoll, We Need You, Say My Name, and Lord Of The Anime were my favorites).

Saturday:
-nothing scheduled as far as gatherings go. Pretty much today was epic prop day
-started out in the morning with Noitora with Ty as Kenpachi
-Went to go have my scythe approved by peacebonding, and was told it was 5 1/2 inches above the limit and they wouldn't let me carry around unless I shortened it (they asked if it was possible to unscrew the pole from the blade - umm obviously not, its thread locked into it D< ). So I had to sit there (since the chain was pinned to my hakama) and watch them (well actually I looked away) score into the bottom 5.5 inches of the staff and snap the PVC. Oh god it was so hard for me to fight back crying (I was tearing actually, but hell it took everything I had to keep myself together and not snap at the staff). They tried to be all nice and everything, but I was at that point where it was like I didn't even want to talk to them and just wanted out of there. So reminder to you guys : DONT BRING BIG PROPS TO AX. Or at least just stay outside with them.
-After that me and Ty wandered around the dealer's hall for a bit, got stopped for photos often.
-later I went and changed into BANKAI!Renji w/Hihio Zabimaru, wandered around the con a bit more before returning to the room to drop off Zabimaru and meet up with Wren and Kitty to go to the masquerade. Speaking of which:
-Masquerade was really disappointing. With the exception of the My OTP skit, the Pokeball Z skit, Nessa's epic SM walk-on, the Zone-00 skit (<333), and the Trinity Blood skit, it didn't really leave much of an impression. The audio kept messing up for many of the groups (and Coconut Bubble Sex Cosplay didn't even get to complete theirs, and I was really looking forward to it).
-went back to hotel for the night

Sunday:
-got up early and changed into Umbreon to go get in line for the open autograph session (which according to the program started at 9 but didn't actually start until 12:15 - WTH?!) so i came back early to go pack up my stuff and help check out, then go get back in line.
-Luckily Kouga's autograph line wasn't very long, the majority of the people there were there for Mana's autograph.
-After getting my artbook signed, I went into the dealer's room to go pick up some really awesome Bleach prints in the AA, as well as a few things for my sister.
-stopped by the FF All gathering and got to see Kaname's amazing Cloud cosplay XD
-Kitty, Wren, Ty, and myself all meandered around the con a bit longer before heading over to Little Tokyo for last-con dinner at a curry house and some shopping. Picked up a really awesome KH Cloud figure and some An Cafe cds.
-Everyone then went their separate ways and we drove home and i spent one more night at Ty's house before going home the following day.

Overall I had a most awesome time - I finally got to meet and we got to be fellow Fraccion together X3 (we'll get more pictures at YaoiCon for sure XD) as well as meet up with old friends. Can't wait till the next con! (Or in this case, next event up will be the NorCal Summer Cosplay Picnic! next costume? GIJINKA!POLIWRATH!).
